This 4-week OBEY series teaches kids about what prayer is, the purpose of it, and how God responds to our prayers.  As believers, there’s no such thing as unanswered prayer.  God assures us that “if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” (1 John 5:14).  However, His answer could be “no,” “not yet,” or “yes.”  When we truly place the full weight of our faith and trust in the Lord’s will for our lives, and obey His commands, we can accept the outcome of “how” God chooses to answer our prayers.  He may not give us everything we want, but He does promise to give us everything we need!
