This 4-week Old Testament OBEY series continues the journey of God’s promise to Abraham through Jacob.  Jacob was strong-willed, self-sufficient and filled with pride, but to his credit, Jacob deeply desired the blessings of God.   Just as God had taken Abraham on a journey to fully trust Him, Jacob struggled with his life and purpose before finally resting at the feet of obedience and submission to God’s will.  Blessings often come out of the struggle, and it’s only by God’s grace that He loves best, even when we are at our worst.
